Untitled, She Spoke, Again.

Hi people.

I remember blogging this before. A prose which i wrote back in February 2009. This prose was written with the intention to deliberate love. Its also written in the perspective of a girl. So, do read it again! :)

UNTITLED, SHE SPOKE
As she looked. Blankly stared. Eyes fixated upon the open book. Her mind swirled into a jumble, a deluge of thoughts. Another one. As the words embellished themselves into her mind once again, she heaved a sigh of regret. “Why”, she asked herself. “What was I thinking?!” And as she pondered, lingered at the threshold of doubt. A word. A path. An answer. Had she found, or was she found?

And as the moment faded into time. As the moment recited its victory in which a concoction of likes, lies and lessons saw her life endure. And as the girl, that ‘she’, a small delight, a small terror. She grasped what was in reach – love. In surreal company, a misery that gleamed in honour. What stood in line, she rejoiced for. A dull rainbow, a boring novelty. She wondered ,and wandered down streets in her life - a straight jacket she never escaped from. Her pretense now faulted. Her life, her soul, her love she never dared challenge. A wick without wax to burn, a life without a heart.

And there stood a many answer that sense didn’t put a finger to. What was the end, as she surrendered in more wet pity. Pleading, for torture? A juncture where words seemed less than credibility proved. A reconnection to the former? Or were the formers all an enigmatic replica of the latter? In life, she put her first foot as front. Risky? Caution? Trust. Faith. Shunned from light, tongue pulled back in remorse and deathly fear. Looming in despair, her shrouded heart smashed when light penetrated. A black room turned white. The awkward silences the pair found present. A sight. A fight. A plight, pathetic.

She slammed it shut. Gushes streamed down in her cascading mind as it hovered over hope, lost. Akin a ship without a sailors, it sinks. Her life without the other, dies.

You know, things are always uncertain, but sometimes the swing comes back to you, and all you are left to do, is grab it. Like it is said, Carpe Diem, because it comes only this very often. :)

xoxo,
Marcus.

Meaningful Dejection.

HELLO DARLINGS!

and so it is, again, that i update this deposition which no one possibily reads. but anyways, i shall still go ahead with my entry today as planned!

I decided to blog today based on a few impending issues! first of all. SCHOOL'S A MAJOR BITCH. i've started getting various feelings of disappointment with my school life. Maybe its because it conflicts with my social life and perhaps it just gets boring due to the PLAIN fact that i'm in Banking and it coincidentally happens to be full of nerds , to which i am certainly not a part of. Another reason is that syllabus is getting tougher as expected. And the last reason? Below:

Well you see, Mrs Penny Thong, my lovely tutor and Module Leader/Lecturer has been sick for the past 3 weeks? And this equates me missing classes/lessons for this period. Isn't that really sad, because i'm kinda losing my motivation. Besides, 3 SETS OF TUTORIALS sounds like quite a lot of things to go through. :S

OKAY! So i had Flash Animation for my IS today, and we had to search for images to import and i found this perfectly beautiful architectural grandfather clock which is made of glass. :D Now isn't that just beautiful!!

Okay. Lastly, to end off my meaningless post, i've got a poem. I wrote this quite a while ago, and published it on my blog. But here it is, 6 lines. 2 of which i just added to the original 4!

Dig deep, think ahead, ponder more:

Under those lies, under that face.
A dark daze, without a place.
Those lies, those words, are all a maze
Maybe i'm just one of your slaves.
Precedence, it brought a craze,
As time toiled, nonchalantly unfazed.

With that, i end off here!
xoxo,
Marcus.

And i present to you one of the most honest proses i've written to date. Hope you catch my drift in one paragraph, or another. Here it goes:

Restriant

RESTRAINT
By Marcus Khoo

Words, Actions, Thoughts, Body.
Aren't always worthy, never sturdy.
Faith in which a built of love,
A crack's, to shudder all to loss.

On cusp, on brink it may have been.
A mind, of loyalty all to thee.
Though sticks and stones won't break my bones.
No saying what flowers, yet torns may prove.

A paired, a pack, a clear mind known.
Resent, Restored, it did Resound.
Of actions that consequence a storm,
Not plummeled by a mind, fevered.
When pushed and left alone too much,
A choice, a change, a cumbersomeness.

Though ends may not be on the lines,
Those actions, words speak themselves.
Akin to magic of the truth,
You so do know its bound to youth.

So speakth thy stand to make it real,
Unless it matters not, so let it sail.
A journey not that began itself,
A need to source in "chasity".
