OMG, this site has been oh so dead for such a long time. The last time i updated was after my birthday. BUT.... i don't really have much to update now.... Just some... bits and pieces here and there to inform you guys!
JUST SO YOU KNOW. September is ALMOST over! and this also means that ALL the shows have started showing. I'm really excited for Eastwick, Dollhouse, Flash Forward, and the other shows of course!
RECENTLY, i've been watching this 22 episode series called Legend Of The Seeker. Well, this is the FIRST SEASON, and the Second one has been renewed! So i'm PSYCHED for it! Okay, the plot's a bit like Eragon, but this is a bit more interesting. It's gonna be showing on Channel 5, so you guys might wana catch it when it debuts in October!

FIRST AND FOREMOST! i wana say that its been a rather joyous month of August. It brought a lot of stressful moments, compliments of my examinations (thank god they're over) and it brought exceptionally frequent smiles across that ugly face of mine.. :) heh!
YES. you see a very photo-shoppedWhitney Houston on her newest album that just got dropped today: "I Look To You". The album has had a few songs that had been leaked weeks to months ago. The eponymous track, "I Look To You" is a ballad which sounds fantastic, in my totally biased opinion. "I Didn't Know My Own Strength" is supposed to be a great and powerful/impactful ballad, even though i don't really like it.......
I'm loving "Call You Tonight" and "Salute" a lot though! :D Give the album a hit on youtube and get a listen to these tracks by the amazing Whitney. Let's hope her live performances go fantastic! :D

A new month starts, yet again. we recall the moments of happiness June brought us, the same time just a year ago. It was more blissful perhaps. Less stress, less wandering without worries. But now, just less than a week away, doesn't that feeling of death linger within you, like you're so unprepared for this. I wonder how i'm gonna pass the obstacles in my life like this. Yes, i'm talking about the Common Tests. 3 papers, next week. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday.
Well, to look forward to other events in June, birthdays! Shu Ya! Your birthday's in a few days' time! :D The JC students are having their breaks now, so i can't wait for mine to start! Ambassadors are having the inauguration and the T&B Camp, which i'm also looking forward to. And i've just signed up for YLA2 as well! :D I'm hoping to take a getaway with Baoying and SiEn during the break as well! THATS A LOT LINED UP EH?! :D

Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince trailer is AWESOME!!!! Here's the official trailer for it! And the movie's set to be released in the U.S in July. I CANNOT WAIT! :D
Also, the sequel to the movie, Twilight: New Moon, will be in theatres this year. I'm really excited to see it. I don't think its gonna be as good as the book is (like every good novel goes, the movie always sucks), but still. here's the trailer!
MAY has met greeted, and bid goodbye to the mid month. As today falls the 18th of the month, suddenly, i find myself in a pit-ful of stress. That of the imminent project deadlines, unforeseen and expected nerves. With the exam week just 3 weeks away, its hard not to worry about how i'd fare for this common tests.
The picture below is something i got for my one and only, dearest Sister. MARIANNE KHOO! she turned 20 yesterday, (Sunday, the 17th May 2009). I'm not exactly the closest of kins to my sister, but she means a whole deal to me nevertheless. And she's got everything, so it was tough to think of something. But fret not! Baoying and I found something in town today. :)
From Thomas Sabo, i got her the... "thing" below. i'd call it a pendent because it LOOKS very much like one, i would like to think. LOL. If you can't see it clearly, its actually a high-heel with some... small little diamonds encrusted at the edge of the heel. :) Simple, elegant, cute. Moving on from the happy moments in my life, ALL my shows are coming to an end. ANTM Cycle 12 has found its winner, Teyona. No comment. This week, Desperate Housewives, Gossip Girl and American Idol does their finale's. It's a bit.... depressing because i'd have nothing to distress with. OF COURSE, Project Runway 6 is coming back to the screens this year, but only on August 20th 2009.
Next week is E-Learning Week. Splendid! That means i've got more time to complete my projects before week 7. And week 8's the exam week so YEEHAW! i really CANNOT wait. :)

Thursday (which was a few hours ago), was a terrible day. It was really boring on the whole. For my IS, we went to the Science Centre. like seriously, we went there to do electrophoresis. i did that in sec2? so... its not a big deal, you know? And i think we did it again in sec3/4. WAKING UP AT 7AM to go to school and then get transported to Jurong for this stupid field trip, was such a waste of time.
However, we did have fun taking pictures. :D like the one below. I know, i look awfully unglamorous, but whatever, seriously. i don't need to look good all the time. i'm human anyways.
However, Rachael, Si'En, Sebastian, Chong Ying, Zhiyan and i all met up in town! YAY! We walked from Far East all the way to Taka and then went to Cine to watch Star Trek, WHICH TURNED OUT TO BE REALLY FANTASTIC considering it was 2h20mins, it seemed really action engaging. :) and i did something so embarrassing at one point of time in the movie. GAWD. lol.

SO, i watched 2 shows today. First of all, was America's Next Top Model C12. I AM SODISAPPOINTED THAT CELIA IS OUT. DO YOU KNOW HOW ANGRY I AM WITH TYRA BANKS?! actually, not that angry luh, i still love her BUT SERIOUSLY, CELIA IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN AMINAT. SHE MAY BE 25, BUT SHE'S NOT AS OLD AS PAULINA RIGHT?! EURGH. fine, paulina doesn't model anymore..... BUT STILL, HOW OLD IS HEIDI KLUM?! even though thats unfiar because she's a supermodel BUT U GET MY DRIFT, RIGHT?
Look, her shot isn't THAT bad right... And the picture below that is Allison's, who i'm really proud of now. But really, i dont think she'll make it to final 2 because she's so soft spoken! And she can't exactly do a very good walk compared to Aminat even though Aminat's a bitch. MAJOR BITCH.
The other unhappy issue is... Allison Iraheta from Amiercan Idol 8. LIKE SERIOUSLY. wtf is America doing?! I mean, i honestly don't think Adam would do very well on the charts if he won. But right now, he seems like the one to win. Kris is just lucky with his looks. Danny's been lucky because the judges have been honestly, nice to him. But Allison's voice is classic and so very beautiful. I think this year, only the girls are voting because there are 3 guys in the top 3.

Of course, if you watched ANTM last week (i think), Fo won Havaianas encrusted with diamonds. that's just way too cool.
BELLE! Remember my golden retriever? she got her fur shaved. i think my dad even said that both Duchess and her got jabs (against H1N1 i suppose) HAHA. so yeah, she's looking more adorable than usual. <3
Talking about H1N1 (or swine flu), Singapore's MOH has raised its emergency level to ORANGE! That means that we must take our temperature in school, twice a day. one at 9am, the other at 3pm. GREAT. you know, i really can't wait for it to turn RED. To find out why, click on the link, [here]

I had an outing with my three BFAS (aka. Best Friends At School) on Wednesday!!! Alright, these 3 are becoming my best friends already because they're just an awesome bunch! :D So here are some pictures from the day.

THINK:Doesn't plus size conjure up "FAT" in your mind? Yeah. so if they say we're trying to accept plus sized models, i start thinking "IT'S OKAY TO BE BIGGER/FAT AND WE'RE TRYING TO CHANGE HOW EVERYONE THINKS". And then we have the judges ultimately eliminating London because of her size. I DO NOT CARE IF SHE'S PUT ON WEIGHT. it can be lost, and if you're so picky, DON'T HAVE PLUS SIZED MODELS ANYMORE! simple right?
and then i pose another question. Tyra's fat. SO? does it mean that she doesn't look presentable? Do you need to be SKINNY to look presentable on a cover? NO. If a girl like Gisele Bundchen is FAT, would you still hire her? OF COURSE RIGHT? why? because its not SIZE, but TALENT. there. talk about ironies and how we wana change the world..... pathetic.
Anyways, i got so caught up in typing that 3 paragraphs above that i forgot to introduce her Allison stepped up her game in this episode! MY BEAUTIFUL DOLL LOOKS FIERRRCCEEEEEEEE! :D muahaha. i really hope to see more from her because she's SO exquisite!

But its very applicable in many situations anyways, so i think you should really give it a listen. I am really proud of Ashley because considering she's an artist that rose from Disney, i just KNOW she's gonna do really well from hereon in. So yeah!! :D
this is where my reflection starts:
I was lying in bed last night, lights off. And then the lyrics of the song above, kept running through my mind. You can already guess where this is going. Yes, i'm gonna emphasize on treasuring those you love. i made up my mind about a few things last night. It's really alright that you don't treasure that bond. Its really okay that you're not bothered by it. Myopic, nonchalant, whatsoever, i don't care anymore. So perhaps this is a change in attitude from me.
I used to think that you should ALWAYS be there for someone in case the person turns back and realized what an oversight he/she has made. but what are the chances? how many people are non-egoistic enough to say "i messed up, please help me"? And then there are those who you know are there. But are they REALLY there? or is it just a mirage? a facade that misleads you to put your trust in them? You really don't know until you've been hurt, right?
And then there are those who tend to be so caring, and ever so loving. To what extent are they really true, you may ask. Are they real, genuine in their actions and good deeds? What's in it for them? After all, people do things for purposes right? and so, you might ask me what's my purpose for blogging about this? And this is my reply: It's never too late to make a change. but that doesn't mean you can take your own time to make amends.
so i don't know if you've heard how badly i've been sunburnt, but yes i've been awfully and ruthlessly been burnt by the sun. always remember, sunscreen and tanning lotion. additionally, if there NO clouds, DON'T TAN OR GO OUT INTO THE SUN. :D
anyways. Marie Digby has a new forthcoming single entitled "Breathing Underwater", and its a nice song to listen to. very light and easy on the ears. the lyrics are interesting actually. meaningful and sweet at times. Here's the youtube video accompanying the song.
Anyways, i dont know how many of you guys have seen the MCYS new "Funeral" advertisement. Yes, the one where the woman gives an eulogy which turns out very sweet. anyways, i've watched it a few times, and it got me laughing the first, and almost sent me to tears as well. its touching and unorthodox, in a manner. so here's the video if you haven't seen it!

gosh, i just gotta say that my blogging is really erratic. sometimes, i blog so consecutively. and then there are those times where i dont know what to blog, or i rather not even do so. sometimes, your life takes a road that makes you wonder if you know yourself, or those around you, at all.

You know, i took this picture below, quite a few months ago. i remember i took 2 shots, each focusing on different things. this happens to focus on the foreground. And as i was starting at it in my photobucketwhich i must say, i'm SO THANKFUL FOR, because i lost ALL my pictures when my computer crashed.pfft , i really told myself that a bench may look old, ugly, unsturdy. but that doesnt mean it can't serve its purpose.
alike, people may look old, ugly, and unsturdy in personality and nature. i was reading Baoying's blog yesterday. and she said that people don't come with labels. you think you know someone? until you know that person and then again, do you really know them? so i'm talking about trust. or perhaps i'm just talking about finding the right friends. and so, what difference does it make to those you have told, or had? hmm?
okay, enough thinking stuff. Britney Spears did an advertisement for a brand of lingerie (i think), and she looks WHAM-BAMMING in shape! i would really like to say its all photoshopped. but there was a video of her and all. rather silly to slim her down in a poor quality video, eh?

i've been watching Project Runway Season 5. and i really like Kenley. i think she's got a bitchy ignorant personality. but you can't just blame her for it, considering she had and has no one in her life. its just really sad how she grew up, and i think all of us should count our blessings because life's really uncertain, anything might go tomorrow....
And talking about that. Desperate Housewives is taking a fucking long hiatus since last week. It will return on April 19th with its 19th episode. there are about 6 more episodes, and i think Marc Cherry has decided to develop more of Dave's motive and plot. really interesting. :D But all these hiatuses just create more drag and make the fans all so irritated. You lose the plot halfway. pfft.

I'm 18 this 2009. Born on the 16th September 1991. There's not much to me, because i'm rather simple......... Maybe that isn't true. Hmmm.
Anyways, i school at Ngee Ann Polytechnic currently pursuing the diploma in Banking and Financial Services. I have a few interests, one of which is travelling. I love shopping and really, who can go wrong with retail therapy?! Music makes up a large part of my life. I'm keen in photography as well. And, i usually communicate in English only, unless its to a chinese-speaking hawker. My Chinese really sucks, trust me you don't wana hear it! :D I love talking, not that i'm talkative, but i love voicing my opinions! And so sparring with me would be very possible and highly likely. I value details in my life, like friends and take strong notice to body language.
