Katy Perry Love!

Hello Everyone!

As you know, i'm quite a fan of Katy Perry. and when she performed at the H&M Event in Tokyo, i think i started liking her more. You know how she's always off-tune? Well, you should really watch this. SHE IS ALMOST ON PITCH, SO OFTEN!! :)

she sang three songs. "Hot N Cold", "Waking Up In Vegas", as well as "I Kissed A Girl". the whole performance was acoustic! I guess, she sounds better with less backing because the drums and all probably drowns her voice, making her sing louder and off tune. :)

HELLO STRANGERS.

i bet you haven't missed me a slightest bit! anyways, i'm here today to just do a short update. with nothing, no pictures, no songs, no updates in music. 

i've got my IS presentation tomorrow, and its getting on my nerves. i'm trying to consolidate everything, with the help of Baoying and Sebastian! :D With exams around the corner, and projects due. I'm really gearing up to a hectic schedule. :S

Anyways, earlier on in the day, i did 2 duties. One at Christchurch Secondary School, one at Jurong Secondary School. :) i'm very happy that i'm really doing my part as an ambassador to market the school! haha. okays.... never minds. 

if you haven't noticed, i've changed my blog picture. Did a collage of a few pictures i really like. And thats what i came up with. Gosh, i'm so out of touch with editing and photography as of late. :( i so need to get inspired and continue shooting! RAHRS!

Haven't you wondered if you were never cut out for the world? Ever wondered that the game is just not for you to play? That the world, full of deceit, is just way to complex and you don't wana get involved in it at all? Oh, i'm not talking about everyday life. I'm talking about choices, decisions that brighten your life, or make it more miserable in the process. I would really hope that such complexities disintegrate because really, now's a bad time. With so many opposing pieces of sadness occurring in America, you start wondering if EVERYTHING was a game to you. If what you believed in, was just a lie. Because people turn on their words. Its as if it meant nothing to them, AT ALL. 

Well, just like everyone else, i'm living this life.

Bipolar Perspectives.

Hello Stranger.

The days go by, and i really start worrying about myself. I've always got a skeleton in my mind, of my life. But recently, the foundation is crumbling into many a piece of fragmented rocks - concrete pieces of haphazard ideas. Obstacles that pose themselves as a challenge to my progress in life. After all, you make your bed, and you lay in it. 

To say that i don't care about the journey that life lays before my very feet, is stupidity. Pretending not to see it is like walking right into a pit of snakes. But to ascertain it, and prevent something from going bad, is another. Much tougher to do, harder to resist. Are we willful? Or are we focused and contented. Are you content with what you have? Or do you really want more...

I came back this afternoon feeling really worn out. School's been sapping my energy bit by bit. This, together with all the unnecessary stress and my uber weak immune system, really aggravates an illness. Yeah, i'm falling sick. :( 

I watched the sun set earlier on in the day. i wanted to capture an image of being so close to freedom, so close but yet so far. The road may seem tough, but do you really wana go out there, alone? Do tell me what you see in the above picture. :)

The picture above is obviously, NOT mine. I took it from flickr a few days ago. What i really liked about this is the subtleties and sheer simplicity. I like the reflection of the hearts on the cup. I like how the hearts aren't perfectly symmetrical. I like how the picture looks so warm and welcoming, but so cold and cautions you. I like the ironies that you can so relate to your own life, from this very picture. Bipolarities, are amazing....

My purpose of this post? To let some stuff out of my brain. To hope that things get better for the few people i referred to. In hope that you'll realize how important it is to stay focused, to prioritise correctly and accordingly, to think twice or thrice before doing something and  to be sensitive. 

Lessons that you don't learn everyday. Skills which you don't acquire overnight. Slow, but steadily. Time and tide waits for no man, but how if the man waits for time? What would you say.

Now Or Never.

MAY has met greeted, and bid goodbye to the mid month. As today falls the 18th of the month, suddenly, i find myself in a pit-ful of stress. That of the imminent project deadlines, unforeseen and expected nerves. With the exam week just 3 weeks away, its hard not to worry about how i'd fare for this common tests. 

The picture below is something i got for my one and only, dearest Sister. MARIANNE KHOO! she turned 20 yesterday, (Sunday, the 17th May 2009). I'm not exactly the closest of kins to my sister, but she means a whole deal to me nevertheless. And she's got everything, so it was tough to think of something. But fret not! Baoying and I found something in town today. :)

From Thomas Sabo, i got her the... "thing" below. i'd call it a pendent because it LOOKS very much like one, i would like to think. LOL. If you can't see it clearly, its actually a high-heel with some... small little diamonds encrusted at the edge of the heel. :) Simple, elegant, cute. Something she would probably wear on a less casual occasion. LOVE YOU SIS! :D

Moving on from the happy moments in my life, ALL my shows are coming to an end. ANTM Cycle 12 has found its winner, Teyona. No comment. This week, Desperate Housewives, Gossip Girl and American Idol does their finale's. It's a bit.... depressing because i'd have nothing to distress with. OF COURSE, Project Runway 6 is coming back to the screens this year, but  only on August 20th 2009. 

Next week is E-Learning Week. Splendid! That means i've got more time to complete my projects before week 7. And week 8's the exam week so YEEHAW! i really CANNOT wait. :)

Sorry.

School picks up its pace as projects and tutorials pile themselves to a level higher than my eyeballs. Whilst civilization seems so bleak, the hope that's in store for a break eases itself another step closer. :) 

He has mentioned this: Lost for Feelings, Misled by Love, Cradled by Hope, Suicidal by Fantasy. Its simple, an incremental 4-phrase narrative that encapsulates the essence of the picture above. This road's really anything, but simple. As strings tie themselves to the bases of another, its complexities overload a simple mind. Pure, innocent, loving, happy, longing, waiting. This mind isn't powerful enough to withstand such a blow from the other. A wake up call, to upgrade its armour, select its tactic, rephrase his words, divulge differently. 

Taking the high road, he mutters an anguished clutter of remorse. A pain, a heartache, a love that he was gonna push away - reasons clear to only himself. Timing was one, but walking away from a potential, is something else. That's the path, HE chose. 

The road must get rough, before it gets smooth. Right?

I Have Nothing.

And Christina Aguilera illustrates it PERFECTLY with her flawless vocals on Whitney's "I Have Nothing", at the tender age of 14. Perhaps, even she, blissfully blinded by such innocence, knew how it felt to have nothing at all.

Unaltered Emotions.

there was a time i asked: "of what significance am i", to that special someone in my life. and now i ask my friends that very same question. seriously, of what significance am i to you guys. If i were to die tomorrow, how many of you would attend my funeral, how many of you will feel that you've lost someone? you know, as much as i wana exaggerate it, i can't say that there'll be many. 

i dont want people to mourn me when i die. I don't wana be a cancer to the people who love me, but it shows that perhaps, i don't have that many concrete blocks in my life. But what can i do about them? perhaps nothing, because i have nothing. a plain person in a white tee and crumpled jeans. who never gets set apart from the ordinary. But of course, there are those that never realize how important we are to them. Are we to pretend that we're useless and utter blocks of wood with zerorized intelligence? 

And its only until then, that that friendship is truly tested to its limits. Whether it would even survive, is highly unlikely. But why even try when you know that you'll not succeed? Why even put yourself in that situation to get hurt? why even make a decision that you so know you'll regret. why love when you know its wrong? why give it a shot when its bound to make you question your principles in life? why be so stupid? Why FUCKING HURT YOURSELF??

maybe, thats just the way we are. doing things, always, on impulse. and maybe, you just dont know me, and you just dont know yourself.

Empty Visions.

It was a run, constant run. As aimless as how you are in life. But then the dream turned a different page and thoughts of your habitance simply puffed into a cloud of memories, which i now would've left behind. 

And to replace it, not a certain thing, or one. It was interesting, for in it, i was running around from place to place, for hours. And then suddenly the scene changed, the act, re-played - backward. Perhaps it did mean something after all, perhaps it was just once. But really, would life be this meaningful without it? 

And then i got awoken by a message from my phone....

Hello Dearest Readers.

It's really disappointing when you get an unpleasant surprise like how i found out that my Flash Application project is due THIS Sunday and not NEXT WEEK. :S i'm seriously screwed. its crazy and retarded. If only someone is able to help me miraculously complete it :S

Anyways, i happened to chance across Lindsay Lohan! She is featured in the September issue of Elle! And i think the pictures are undeniably gorgeous. Its either the fact that she's close to anorexia or the fact that she's plain comforting to the eyes. :) Maybe this is why i love her so much! Below are a few pictures!

You probably guessed so. I love the picture below. It's GORGEOUS people. my English is SO limited because it really is JUST PLAIN GORGEOUS! :D If only she could get her sexy self back into the studio and record some great tunes again, QUICKLY... meanwhile, just gaze at the pictures! :D

Let's do a section on music! It's been a really long time since i talked about an artist on my blog. Anyways, I've talked about this singer before. JESSIE JAMES! She first released her single "Wanted" which i absolutely loved. And now, she brings you her second single "I Look So Good (Without You)", which happens to be an awesome track :D

Hello Darlings.

Here's an update for you at 2.05am, on a Friday morning! I've got a few stuff to update! so lets get started! MAS SELAMAT has been arrested in Malaysia. Well, this should be really surprising considering how LONG it has been since he escaped from Whitley Road Detention Centre. Anyways, Rachael Aw Bao Ying now has something new to say to Boon Kiat in our LMS video. :D ERPS, okay, lame right.. learnt it from Si'En. :) AHOYHOO, below is the excerpt taken from Channelnewsasia. 

Thursday (which was a few hours ago), was a terrible day. It was really boring on the whole. For my IS, we went to the Science Centre. like seriously, we went there to do electrophoresis. i did that in sec2? so... its not a big deal, you know? And i think we did it again in sec3/4. WAKING UP AT 7AM to go to school and then get transported to Jurong for this stupid field trip, was such a waste of time.

However, we did have fun taking pictures. :D like the one below. I know, i look awfully unglamorous, but whatever, seriously. i don't need to look good all the time. i'm human anyways.

However, Rachael, Si'En, Sebastian, Chong Ying, Zhiyan and i all met up in town! YAY! We walked from Far East all the way to Taka and then went to Cine to watch Star Trek, WHICH TURNED OUT TO BE REALLY FANTASTIC considering it was 2h20mins, it seemed really action engaging. :) and i did something so embarrassing at one point of time in the movie. GAWD. lol.

Below are the pictures taken when we were just.....sitting at McDonalds doing nothing, seriously. But yeah, it was good bonding time. :D I really wana thank my BFAS for being there for me! Love you guys!


OKAY. for the rants about America, here they go.

SO, i watched 2 shows today. First of all, was America's Next Top Model C12. I AM SO DISAPPOINTED THAT CELIA IS OUT. DO YOU KNOW HOW ANGRY I AM WITH TYRA BANKS?! actually, not that angry luh, i still love her BUT SERIOUSLY, CELIA IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN AMINAT. SHE MAY BE 25, BUT SHE'S NOT AS OLD AS PAULINA RIGHT?! EURGH. fine, paulina doesn't model anymore..... BUT STILL, HOW OLD IS HEIDI KLUM?! even though thats unfiar because she's a supermodel BUT U GET MY DRIFT, RIGHT?

Look, her shot isn't THAT bad right... And the picture below that is Allison's, who i'm really proud of now. But really, i dont think she'll make it to final 2 because she's so soft spoken! And she can't exactly do a very good walk compared to Aminat even though Aminat's a bitch. MAJOR BITCH.


The other unhappy issue is... Allison Iraheta from Amiercan Idol 8. LIKE SERIOUSLY. wtf is America doing?! I mean, i honestly don't think Adam would do very well on the charts if he won. But right now, he seems like the one to win. Kris is just lucky with his looks. Danny's been lucky because the judges have been honestly, nice to him. But Allison's voice is classic and so very beautiful. I think this year, only the girls are voting because there are 3 guys in the top 3.

bullcrap, seriously. sigh. anyways. i think i'll end off my post here. 4 hours of FRP later!

A façade, fictitious. An undignified understatement. A scandal, a scare. A hurl that hurt. It led many ways, that path did. A quick rise, a short fall too. It held many a reason to be wary. He’d been warned, umpteen times. Situations like these, they led only one way. One way, which led to another – death. Not of body, but of life. Its essence itself sapped up life in purpose. As wonder brings about the takings from the table, it pointed to rote learning, rote behaviourial effects which incessantly comment on its neighbours’. He yelled “Lift Me Up” in hope for a save, but when it went down that path, the other, a road that never was taken. The slave it had become, a sad life they led. A showdown where both love and hate showed no mercy, no fences, no dilemmas, no uncertainties. Only One. The Road Has To Be Taken.

hello people. its already May! Great. you know, some things just has to remain as they are, some things just cannot change. some things will just disappoint. But lets hope this post doesn't! :D I've got lots of sexy stuff to show you. okay, just 2.

Lets start this post off by showing you the picture below. Guess what shop that is........

You probably didn't guess it right, but that shop is GAP. Yes, i know, Gap selling Havaianas? :S Confusing, eh? Well you see, in America, its summer now, so i suppose they introduced that idea to Gap shops. What's interesting is that this, is an ALL CUSTOM HAVAIANAS SHOP! i think its so cool. Of course, if you watched ANTM last week (i think), Fo won Havaianas encrusted with diamonds. that's just way too cool.

BELLE! Remember my golden retriever? she got her fur shaved. i think my dad even said that both Duchess and her got jabs (against H1N1 i suppose) HAHA. so yeah, she's looking more adorable than usual. <3

Talking about H1N1 (or swine flu), Singapore's MOH has raised its emergency level to ORANGE! That means that we must take our temperature in school, twice a day. one at 9am, the other at 3pm. GREAT. you know, i really can't wait for it to turn RED. To find out why, click on the link, [here]

If you watched ANTM last week, you would've seen the model below. i think she's fucking FREAKING hot! Her name's Fernanda Motta, and she's from, Brazil of course. (Brazil has the hottest models on Earth....really....) just look at her.....i actually think there is a resemblance to Mischa Barton in the pic below. lol.

OKAY. so Lady Gaga released her single "LoveGame" a few weeks ago i think. The song's terrible at first, i found it weird. but here's the video, which is UBER SEXY! you just gotta love how she tries so hard to sell sex. because its fantastic and really awesome. :D So here's the video:
