Hello Stranger.
April's reached its end and its time to bid goodbye to the fourth month and welcome May. April was the re-opening of school, it also marked a rather unfortunate decision that is now corrected. Well, mistakes made and done, its time to move on to a new month, a new beginning. It marked my hair being cut.

Just look at the picture below. i know its slightly pixelated. BUT SERIOUSLY. i really miss my bangs. you know, i didnt need to style it at all. just some conditioner and an occasional straightening. =X LOL! i miss the helmet. :( but oh well..... i suppose i'm showing off my face more now, which is.... fresh.

There are few things in May that i'm looking forward to! One of them would be the preparations fo Training & Bonding Camp! I'm helping Shanya out with the Games, and it already sounds fun. Indeed its tedious, but i'm sure its gonna be tonnes of fun, and when it actually takes off on the day itself, we're gonna be so happy that its a success. :D

I'm also looking forward to the Audi Fashion Festival. Its held on the 10th of May 2009, which is a Sunday, at Ngee Ann Civic Plaza. I'm going with Xenia to watch Vivienne Westwood showcase her Anglomania collection. :D Sadly, Marc Jacobs' tickets were sold out well before 9 days, so i didn't get a chance to book em'. :(


Anyways, i really dont have much to update. April 2009 has had more blog posts from me. It also saw me questioning myself more. I do not entirely know all my answers, but i just hope i find out soon enough. I'm hoping for a joyful May. :D

Beyonce's Halo Live.

hello people. 

i'm here just to post a video of Beyonce singing "Halo" live on The Late Show with David Letterman. She does sing a few notes off-key, but its still many notches higher than many other singers. Her falsettos are heavenly, serene and OH so beautiful. :D

alrights. i'm gonna just end off here. it's a Friday night, i've got to go to school tomorrow for Games Day, and i've got tonnes of tutorials to do. absolutely not looking forward to next week, and my weekends are gonna be gone in a second. :(

Angel From The Sky.

HELLO PEOPLE!

i'm here to do a photo update! School is in SESSION! and my finance modules are gonna suck! i can just feel it! Onto better news, i stayed in school today with 2 of my BFAS! And here are 5 out of the 90-over pictures we took!

Oh yes, you'd see my...short hair in the pics below. well, i have forgotten yes, forgotten how to style hair. uh huh, can't remember how to do it well and so, its ever changing from day to day, but i'm settling on one style that looks fine. :)

Below is the streaming of a song by Kate Voegele that was leaked just a few days ago. This song, which follows "99 Times" and "Manhattan From The Sky" is the one i like the most out of the 3. The song is entitled "Angel" and is a fabulous track! Give it a listen.

Paparazzi.

Hello Strangers.

i'm just gonna be doing an update and sharing of some stuff. Not gonna be too much bullshit info, so lets first start off by saying that school starts tomorrow. 

YES. SCHOOL STARTS TOMORROW. OMG. EURGHH. Yaye, now let me sing to the heavens because i'm a second year student who's doing finance stuff. I wrote on facebook: 

"Marcus is psyched for school tomorrow. He really can't wait. He's been looking forward to school ever since it ended a month and a half ago......"

Right, so i'm being awfully sarcastic but i really don't wana start school. But i'm really excited for duty tomorrow with Bertram Khoo and to meet my BFAS's! :D so... its a love-hate thing. i've no idea why i'm so long-winded today. tsk tsk. 

Oh. i've been really bored because i've got lots of free-time now. And so i watched HANNAH MONTANA THE MOVIE YESTERDAY! don't ask me why i watched it. I don't really like Miley Cyrus, but still. TYRA BANKS APPEARED IN IT! She and Miley were having a shoe fight. HILARIOUS! hahaha. Taylor Swift also did a cameo. :)

Lady Gaga is known for her hit singles "Just Dance" and "Poker Face". She was also said to be releasing a new single, "Lovegame", which turned out to be false because the video for "Paparazzi" had been shot a few days ago. Below are 4 stills from the shoot. I'm so EXCITED for the video. 

I've put a youtube window below for you to stream the song to give it a listen. As usual, since its a Lady Gaga song, it's probably gonna do really well on the charts. :D Enjoy!

Onto other music news, there is a new artist you should take note of. Her name? Jessie James!!!! She sang "Blue Jeans" for the Confessions Of A Shopaholic Soundtrack. Her debut single, "Wanted" is fantastic! Its edgy and up-beat! It's a bit country-like to a certain extent? But i don't really know what kinda genre it is anyways. LOL

Her voice is slightly like Christina Aguilera's actually. Listen carefully to the chorus. It has the same power and tone to it. Also, the song was written by herself and 3 more writers. One of them being Kara DioGuardi. :) So below is a stream for the song. Enjoy it! 

Kelly Clarkson's single "My Life Would Suck Without You" premiered at #97 and jumped to #1 in just one week, showing you that she's still....the best. Her newest single, "I Do Not Hook Up" is a fantastic track written by Katy Perry. Her video just leaked yesterday, and here it is (in bad quality). 

In my honest opinion, the video doesn't really make much sense. Even though i LOVE the song, she could've done better for the video. I was laughing at certain bits. LOL. Oh yeah, does she really need to sing onstage in every video she shoots? IDK how many there have been of her singing on a stage. She's not that amateur/uncreative anymore right..... Still, give it a shot, and share my sentiments. :)

AHHH! One last video for you! This is quite old! But i thought it was really cute. It's a parody of Destiny's Child. If you don't know, there are not only 3 members in the group. There was Beyonce, Michelle Williams, Kelly Rowland, Letoya Luckett, LaTavia and Farrah. I don't remember the last 2 anyways. But watch it. It's not even an official parody, as you can tell. But it still got me cracking. LOL.

Alrights. THIS WEEK! ALL the shows are showing!!! As in, Desperate Housewives and Gossip Girl comes back. So remember to watch them all! Finally, i've got a haircut! and its drastic. But i'm not sure if its exactly fantastic. But yeah, its.......short. :)

RANT ALERT

you know, there's a difference between LEAVING IT AT THE TABLE and BITING PIECES OF THE FOOD IN THE HEAT OF THE MOMENT. of course, never be afraid to flaunt it when its gone, but not when its ongoing. that's just like ridding the evidence in a crime scene! :D 

and when the pieces all fall into place, maybe in the later years of your life, you might question yourself where you screwed up. and maybe that road would lead back to me. MAYBE, you were worried about your now. but you know what, it doesn't matter cuz you're rejoicing. My previous post wasn't directed to you, but BE MY GUEST, TAKE OFFENCE IF YOU FEEL AS GUILTY AS IT WAS FOR WHAT YOU'VE DONE... 

Listening to "Fighter" by Christina Aguilera, i thought. yeah, i sure am more prepared. maybe being ALL BY MYSELF is just another stage that i've gotta go through. after all, you've fucked up my life enough, right? So you just had to fuck it up once more to remind me who fucks it all up. yeaps, thanks. very thoughtful of you. :)

you know, in church i learnt this. Those that curse, will be cursed. maybe i cursed, but not at you. I'm not the biggest fan of Lily Allen, but when i heard her song "Fuck You" also widely known as "F**k You", i was impressed. She made it sound so happy and gay. So anyways, she talks about George Bush, clearly. And its applicable in many a way. I love her British pronunciation btw!

It's Alright, It's Okay.

hello stranger.

let me start this post off by saying: "I'VE GOT A LOT OF THINGS TO SAY!" so its gonna be a long post, as usual. :D anyways, lets start with the light hearted issues before we break into the heavier topic that has been on my mind recently.

I had an outing with my three BFAS (aka. Best Friends At School) on Wednesday!!! Alright, these 3 are becoming my best friends already because they're just an awesome bunch! :D So here are some pictures from the day. 

We had dinner at Mr. Curry, and this was what Sebastian and Si'En had! :D The food was scrumptious and we headed to the riverside after that, to listen to songs and take other.....weird....pictures!!!! Moving on!!!

Oh yes, i put the picture below for a reason. See, that helmet of mine is really nice. But we all know school is coming, and Ambassadors are gonna be having recruitments and whatnot's, so i've decided that i'm gonna have a makeover done for my hair! :D Good or bad, you better like it! You'll all get to see it soon!!! 

NEXT TOPIC! Gossip Girl's next episode is gonna get really juicy! i really cannot wait for it! WHY?! Georgina Sparks FINALLLLLYYYYYY comes back! In the production still below with Ed Westwick shows us the very talented actress, Michelle Trachtenberg! I know, i can't wait for the 20th of April! :D

AND.... American Idol Season 8 is really getting boring. Don't you think so? Someone once told you that this season would have talents. I guess i was right. However, i have NO idea why the talents didn't make it. ITS RIDICULOUS. Frankie Jordan, Alexis Grace, Joanna Pacitti, Megan Joy. How many talented girls are there in there now? Like Simon said on last night's show, Allison really is the girl's last hope unless Lil' can pull of a powerful R&B Mary J Blige-like song. 

if you haven't known, the save was used this week, which means..... yeah. 2 people get eliminated next week. please let it be Anoop because he's so arrogant. obnoxiously conceited idiot. Below is the picture of the 7 finalists at the premiere of 17 Again. 

AHHH. America's Next Top Model Cycle 12. Here's another cause for complain. WTH IS WRONG WITH TYRA?!?!? As some of you know, London was one of my favourites because of how amicable she is. But of course, she had to get sent home instead of Aminat. Yes, i did like Aminat but she became so fucking rude in the course of the show! Absurd really. And then there's the weight issue. 

THINK: Doesn't plus size conjure up "FAT" in your mind? Yeah. so if they say we're trying to accept plus sized models, i start thinking "IT'S OKAY TO BE BIGGER/FAT AND WE'RE TRYING TO CHANGE HOW EVERYONE THINKS". And then we have the judges ultimately eliminating London because of her size. I DO NOT CARE IF SHE'S PUT ON WEIGHT. it can be lost, and if you're so picky, DON'T HAVE PLUS SIZED MODELS ANYMORE! simple right? 

and then i pose another question. Tyra's fat. SO? does it mean that she doesn't look presentable? Do you need to be SKINNY to look presentable on a cover? NO. If a girl like Gisele Bundchen is FAT, would you still hire her? OF COURSE RIGHT? why? because its not SIZE, but TALENT. there. talk about ironies and how we wana change the world..... pathetic. 

Anyways, i got so caught up in typing that 3 paragraphs above that i forgot to introduce her Allison stepped up her game in this episode! MY BEAUTIFUL DOLL LOOKS FIERRRCCEEEEEEEE! :D muahaha. i really hope to see more from her because she's SO exquisite! 

Above is the High School Musical start Ashley Tisdale. And that's her single-album-art for her song: "It's Alright, It's Okay". the song talks about the emotions that occurs after a break-up. But its very applicable in many situations anyways, so i think you should really give it a listen. I am really proud of Ashley because considering she's an artist that rose from Disney, i just KNOW she's gonna do really well from hereon in. So yeah!! :D 

this is where my reflection starts:

I was lying in bed last night, lights off. And then the lyrics of the song above, kept running through my mind. You can already guess where this is going. Yes, i'm gonna emphasize on treasuring those you love. i made up my mind about a few things last night. It's really alright that you don't treasure that bond. Its really okay that you're not bothered by it. Myopic, nonchalant, whatsoever, i don't care anymore. So perhaps this is a change in attitude from me. 

I used to think that you should ALWAYS be there for someone in case the person turns back and realized what an oversight he/she has made. but what are the chances? how many people are non-egoistic enough to say "i messed up, please help me"? And then there are those who you know are there. But are they REALLY there? or is it just a mirage? a facade that misleads you to put your trust in them? You really don't know until you've been hurt, right? 

And then there are those who tend to be so caring, and ever so loving. To what extent are they really true, you may ask. Are they real, genuine in their actions and good deeds? What's in it for them? After all, people do things for purposes right? So what's their motive and outcome? you know, life's really a bitch. you give too much, its wrong. doing too little is wrong too. i'm sorry, but this is the fucked up world we live in. and you just gotta go about life trying to be your best. 

and so, you might ask me what's my purpose for blogging about this? And this is my reply: It's never too late to make a change. but that doesn't mean you can take your own time to make amends.

Question Existing.

so today's post might not make ANY sense. NULL. seriously. so consider it a rant, a deposit of my fragmented mind. so let's begin: 

take a look around. do you have people close to you? perhaps. do you have people supporting you morally? definitely. do you know if they will share their roof with you if you're reduced? probably not. do you know their motives? definitely not. 

i know this sounds so familiar: you really don't know what you've got until you've lost it....wait, have you ever thought if you ever knew how bad it feels to have lost it, and regret losing it? sadistic, but still. isn't that part and parcel of life? feeling pain? shouldn't we be happy that we fucked up? no, right? and then again, you don't know what you've LOST until you've really lost it. but isn't that really true? right. so why are we punished for making mistakes? after all, its from them that we learn, right? hmmmm. 

but really, how many people would stop to give you a second chance? so my question is, do you REALLY know your friends, your lover, your parents, your best friend? you'd probably never find out, not unless your friends are brutally honest and you're totally retarded. don't people do things for purposes? so its a lie that there is no motive. so all our friends do things for motives. they're ALL making use of each other! what a bitchy, backstabbing world! so are we supposed to accept that motives now are classified into GOOD, BAD, and MEDIOCRE? and there again, there are hypocrites. aren't we ALL hypocritical? is it tolerable that we commit the act only by physical err? isn't it bad enough to THINK of backstabbing? but no, we're led to believe its fine as long as its not committed. 

and now we're faced with societies and systems that conform us. laws that are written in order to bring about harmony and dispel discord. but really, do we know anything about what we obey? amongst them, many other controversial topics which shall not be discussed here. but why do we obey something we don't condone either? they say "do not smoke here" and yet you do. do they not realise rebellion would up-rise sooner or later? 

and so we say we believe. but do you really know what you're reading or choosing to believe in? how can you believe in something such as a law, if you don't know WHY it was written or WHOM it was written by, or WHAT purpose did it evolve from? who are you to subject us to a law, a form that we must conform to. 

isn't it ironic that in life we promote harmony and peace but end up fighting wars? isn't the world just messed up? isn't life just a tale, a tall one told to make us believe in something that doesn't exist because we could all jolly well be an experiment of another, under observation. why does the big bang theory not coincide with that of religion and that of evidence? isn't it queer? haven't you not questioned who we are? 

never take for granted what you have. what DO we have, really? i don't know, and that's why I'm questioning myself now. do you? 

Silver Lining Covered In Gold.

hello people.

so i don't know if you've heard how badly i've been sunburnt, but yes i've been awfully and ruthlessly been burnt by the sun. always remember, sunscreen and tanning lotion. additionally, if there NO clouds, DON'T TAN OR GO OUT INTO THE SUN. :D

anyways. Marie Digby has a new forthcoming single entitled "Breathing Underwater", and its a nice song to listen to. very light and easy on the ears. the lyrics are interesting actually. meaningful and sweet at times. Here's the youtube video accompanying the song. 

Anyways, i dont know how many of you guys have seen the MCYS new "Funeral" advertisement. Yes, the one where the woman gives an eulogy which turns out very sweet. anyways, i've watched it a few times, and it got me laughing the first, and almost sent me to tears as well. its touching and unorthodox, in a manner. so here's the video if you haven't seen it!

hello my dears.

gosh, i just gotta say that my blogging is really erratic. sometimes, i blog so consecutively. and then there are those times where i dont know what to blog, or i rather not even do so. sometimes, your life takes a road that makes you wonder if you know yourself, or those around you, at all.

AH. you guys all know that school is starting soon. sorry to remind those that hate it i just wanted to show all of you how lovely my timetable is! :D YAYE! oh. click on it to enlarge. and see how many Finance modules i have. it usually starts with an "F". do help me celebrate.

You know, i took this picture below, quite a few months ago. i remember i took 2 shots, each focusing on different things. this happens to focus on the foreground. And as i was starting at it in my photobucket which i must say, i'm SO THANKFUL FOR, because i lost ALL my pictures when my computer crashed.pfft , i really told myself that a bench may look old, ugly, unsturdy. but that doesnt mean it can't serve its purpose.

alike, people may look old, ugly, and unsturdy in personality and nature. i was reading Baoying's blog yesterday. and she said that people don't come with labels. you think you know someone? until you know that person and then again, do you really know them? so i'm talking about trust. or perhaps i'm just talking about finding the right friends. and so, what difference does it make to those you have told, or had? hmm?

okay, enough thinking stuff. Britney Spears did an advertisement for a brand of lingerie (i think), and she looks WHAM-BAMMING in shape! i would really like to say its all photoshopped. but there was a video of her and all. rather silly to slim her down in a poor quality video, eh?

i've been watching Project Runway Season 5. and i really like Kenley. i think she's got a bitchy ignorant personality. but you can't just blame her for it, considering she had and has no one in her life. its just really sad how she grew up, and i think all of us should count our blessings because life's really uncertain, anything might go tomorrow....

And talking about that. Desperate Housewives is taking a fucking long hiatus since last week. It will return on April 19th with its 19th episode. there are about 6 more episodes, and i think Marc Cherry has decided to develop more of Dave's motive and plot. really interesting. :D But all these hiatuses just create more drag and make the fans all so irritated. You lose the plot halfway. pfft.

good morning people.

its a nice day indeed. great to prank all your friends. just know that you should always try to believable and original. dont use pranks like "i'm in the hospital because i met with an accident" or "i've got AIDS....." because those are just......unbelievable most of the time. :D
